Step 1. Pour the trux powder in a large pot then pour 4½ cups water, add salt and mix together until the consistency starts to thicken…*Note have some warm water ready encase needed.
Step 2. Place pot on medium to high heat and keep stirring (a big wooden spoon is ideal), as you stir the consistency is going to become stiffer, slap contents against pot side and stir at times well slapping more than stiring. The process is completed when you have a smooth stiff consistency.
Plateing: To manoeuvre or serve trux simply wet spoon or ladle and scoope it to prevent sticking to the utensils, trux can be combined with Kasa-kasa or tadé.
Plateing: Trux is a neutral dish and can be combined with any sauce preferably okra base.
